It’s been another busy week this week with a session at Battle Back on Wednesday followed by the Sainsbury’s School Games in Sheffield. This is a large multi-sport event delivered by the Youth Sports Trust and Fast Track.

As well as supporting the delivery of the indoor volleyball competition, I was outside running the Interactive Zone in which we had Sitting and Standing Volleyball on the grass as well as the Speed Cage for people to test how fast they could spike the ball.

Over 300 people got involved outside over the 2 days and Volleyball was certainly one of the most popular sports.

Inside the competition was highly competitive with young people from across the home nations playing some fantastic volleyball. We can certainly be positive that the future of volleyball is in safe hands!
